Original description for this photograph was ‘County Waterford Memorial’, and it was undated. Research by our Flickr Commons users established that this was the unveiling of an I.R.A. memorial at Kilrossanty, Co. Waterford, and it was taken on Easter Sunday, 20 April 1930. The memorial was unveiled by Caitlín Brugha, who had been Sinn Féin TD for Waterford from 1923 to 1927.
