Description: Brennan explains that the Currency Commission is looking for a "portrait of a beautiful female head treated in some emblematic fashion which might perhaps have some Irish association" for their new notes. Brennan ends his letter by saying that he will be in London in a few days time when he could hopefully discuss the matter further with Lavery.
