Description: De Lacy lost his position, as a teacher, following the Easter Rising. He explains that he cannot regain his position "unless I give a guarantee as to my future political activities - a thing which I cannot do". De Lacy claims to have been earing £300 per year before the Easter Rising. Letter sent from "Loughmore House / Mungret".
