Description: Correspondence makes reference to McHugh’s experience in Kilmainham Jail, McHugh asking Redmond to visit Sligo, McHugh on his release from Sligo prison, the Parliamentary Fund, a meeting at Kilrush, Clare. Correspondence also relates to William O’Brien and Redmond’s speeches in Limerick, trouble in North Leitrim for C.J. Dolan, support for the Irish Parliamentary Party and Redmond informing McHugh that C.J. Dolan hasn't resigned.

Also includes a letter from C.J. Dolan to O’Mara discounting the absurd reports in the London papers that he was kicked and thumped by an angry crowed in Manorhamilton.
