Summary:	In this letter, Koehler relates that she is glad to hear that Alice Green has begun to write again. Koehler states that she had a quiet summer due to receiving very few guests except for the Matisse family and Paul Rodocanachi. Koehler writes that she is still in great pain and finds it impossible to continue with her jewellery but has been painting a lot more. Koehler writes that she received a letter from Norman Hugh Romanes and that his view of things in general and the "Irish Affair" in particular seems neither sympathetic nor liberal. Koehler also states that Robin Holloway is in hospital in France.
