Memorial card for Austin Stack. Rough translation of the printed text on recto reads: "Christ, grant mercy on Austin Stack, a faithful soldier of Ireland, who was born in Kerry and who died in Dublin on 27 April, 1929 aged 49 years", followed by a four lined verse by Pádraic Mac Piarais [Padraig Pearse]. On verso is an image of Christ within an oval, surrounded by decorative interlace work in which an angel features either side of the head of Christ, who is shown wearing a crown of thorns.
