Description: Correspondence concerns difficulties in devising a land settlement which would benefit the landowners in Ireland, a proposed settlement to the Land Question, the Land Conference, arrangements for a meeting with Lord Mayo, a scheme advocated by William O’Brien, the draft Land Conference report and Davitt’s criticism of it, the Land Bill, Lord De Freyne’s case, the unfairness shown by George Wyndham and O’Brien’s resignation.

Folder also includes a letter from A. Hamilton on behalf of Lord Dunraven, informing Redmond that of the representatives of the landlords at the Conference.
