Correspondence between Kenny's Advertising Agency and the Irish National Volunteers, regarding the falling readership numbers of 'The National Volunteer',
1915 August 25 - October 13.
|Main Creator:||Kenny's Advertising Agency|
Includes a request from Michael Governy (Governy's Boot Factory, Carlow) requesting that his advertising contract with 'The National Volunteer' not be renewed. Also includes extracts of letters sent to Kenny's Advertising Agency from numerous individuals and companies, asking that their orders of 'The National Volunteer' be decreased due to lack of sales. One correspondent notes that as officers have enlisted in the army and the local Volunteers are no longer drilling, interest in buying 'The National Volunteer' has dropped significantly.
