Included are letters from Edward Walsh of the 'Munter Express', H. Ridgway, of Portsmouth, and D. E. Keohan, a staff member at Downey's paper 'The Waterford News'.


Also included is a letter to Mrs. Downey from Charles L. Keogh of Ranelagh, Dublin, his which he refers to the popularity of her husband's stories which were being broadcast on radio (Feb. 1938).
