Description: Correspondents include Lady Gregory, W. B. Yeats, William Wilson Lynch, Denis Gwynn and Lennox Robinson. Elizabeth Noble (1896- ) was doing research in 1930 for her PhD thesis on Arthur de Gobineau at Trinity College, Dublin, under Professor Rudmose Brown. Her mother Elizabeth Noble was a friend of Lennox Robinson and his mother. Samuel Joy, a civil servant in Cork and Dublin, and member of the "Bohemians" was married to Grace Noble, sister of Elizabeth Noble (1896- ) and daughter of Elizabeth Noble.
