Contributors: Nicholson, John T., Rev., 1868-1935
Summary:Casement writes that he does not expect any change in the loyalties of the Irish soldiers until conditions in the camp start to improve but regrets that this is unlikely as the German government does not hold a high opinion of the soldiers and the war is causing extreme food and other shortages across the country. Casement regrets that the British have cut Germany off and that no mail with a German stamp is delivered. He hopes to send Irish papers to the prisoners in time for St. Patrick's Day and also writes that all German prisoners have been removed from Ireland for "corrupting public opinion".
