Description: Strangman, an organiser of the Munster Women’s Franchise League, responds to an earlier comment Downey made on local suffragists using ‘anti-national means to forward the Cause’. She outlines the MWFL's policy of not recognising ‘differences of religion, party politics and race’, pulls him up on the inaccuracies in an article in 'The Waterford News' (Downey edited the paper) titled ‘Those funny Suffragettes’, and refers to her plans of holding a suffrage meeting in Waterford Town Hall.
