In Collection: Erskine Childers Papers
Description: A collection of short articles on Nationalist themes, such as an interview with Terence MacSwiney's sister (Sister Francis Xavier, a nun in Japan), glowing pen portraits of Michael Collins and Éamon de Valera, and Dáil Éireann's address to the Australian Parliament. It ends with a statement by Austin Stack as Minister of Home Affairs, forbidding Irish citizens from leaving Ireland and calling those who do "deserters", and a poem by Countess Markievicz titled "Kevin" [presumably Kevin Barry].
