He also refers in passing to his work in the past as private secretary to John Dillon and his recollections of literary meetings held in Oldham's Chambers, Dublin, attending by T. W. Rolleston, George Coffey, Douglas Hyde and W. B. Yeats. His letters are dated 26 May - 15 June 1917; the letter dated 26 May is incomplete.
