Description: The campaign of meetings will open in the Free Trade Hall, Manchester on 17 January 1921. To be included in the series of special leaflets is one dealing with the subject of 'what martial law involves to the civil community in the way of the restriction or withdrawal of civil liberties', and asks if Erskine Childers would like to write on such a subject to about 1,200-1,500 words.
