Summary: | Clarke's drafts relate to a meeting held at 41 Parnell Square, attended by Padraic Pearse, Joseph Plunkett and Thomas MacDonagh at which MacDonagh took exception to comments made by Pearse. Also included are Clarke's recollections of both her husband Tom Clarke and Thomas MacDonagh’s views on Pearse character and ‘ambition’. Notes at the verso of the notebook contain a biographical account of her husband Tom Clarke's early life, early political activities, imprisonment in England and his life following his release from prison. |
