Also included are Clarke's recollections of both her husband Tom Clarke and Thomas MacDonagh’s views on Pearse character and ‘ambition’. Notes at the verso of the notebook contain a biographical account of her husband Tom Clarke's early life, early political activities, imprisonment in England and his life following his release from prison.
