Description: Includes correspondence from various businesses and individuals in Ireland and abroad largely in relation to food production and importation. Many letters concern the erection of a glucose factory, waste treatment, Kosher meat, work permits, "alien" employees, metal works, sugar manufacture and Gaeltacht industries. Also includes letters concerning the Hospital Commission and the Chief Rabbi's Religious Emergency Council. Correspondents include Gerald Boland and Thomas McEllistrim.
