Description: Duggan, in his undated letter, writes of his meeting with Sinn Féin supporters in Longford, including Maurice Moore and a local curate Fr. Pat Giles who supports the local Sinn Féin's candidate [Joseph] McGuinness and who 'fires the police out of concerts ... when they come spying'. His letter may date from the campaign which took place ahead of the General Election in 1918.
