Summary:Contains manuscript and typescript drafts of the text of Duggan's radio broadcast, in which he recalls events in the North Dublin Union and Fr. Mathew Hall during Easter week. He refers to the assistance he received from the French Sisters of Charity and Franciscan monks in Church Street during the Rising, the Volunteer's attack on Broadstone Railway Station, his being in Four Courts at the time of the surrender, their treatment of the British soldiers they captured, fighting at King St. and Bow Street and his personal memories of Edward Daly.


Also included is a letter (dated 9 Apr. 1936) and attached notes from Mort Ó Conaill, concerning his own recollections of the Easter Rising, notably events at May Lane, Church St. and Bow Street, letters and documentation from Stáisiún Foirleatha which broadcast the talk and letters to Duggan from those who listened to his address (24 Apr. - 4 May). Among those who wrote to him after the broadcast were Aileen Daly O'Toole, sister of Edward Daly.
