Summary: | Kavanagh writes of commemorative events in Dublin held to mark the first anniversary of the Easter Rising, notably an event in Glasnevin cemetery at which the O’Rahilly’s and Sean Connolly’s graves covered with flowers. She refers to her collecting newspapers and copies of 'The Catholic Bulletin’ for him and having kept the two military passes issued to her during the Rising. She writes of her own recollections of calling to see Sinead de Valera having been sent home from work during the Easter Rising. Also included is a note to Duggan from his sister Cissie Duggan, in which she refers to a legal action which is causing her anxiety. |
