Summary:Kavanagh writes of their last meeting on 26 April during the Easter Rising, her unsuccessful efforts to get to see him after that, her thoughts on the sentence he received for taking part in the Rising, her own return to work and her hearing rumours that she too had been under arrest. She also writes of news of their friend Eddie Morkan, then detained in Knutsford, her visits to the priests and nuns in Church Street (where Duggan was fighting during much of the Rising) and her hopes of travelling to England to visit him. Pages 3 and 4 contain text in shorthand on the verso.
