Description: Half length portrait of (from left) Harry Boland, Muriel MacSwiney carrying a wreath of flowers and an unidentified man, amongst a crowd of people. Taken in New York on 4th Decemer 1920.

Title inscribed on note attached to verso of two copies which continues "Mrs. Terence MacSwiney being escorted from the White Star Line pier in New York after her arrival on the S.S Celtic. A great crowd greeted the widow of the Lord Mayor of Cork who is here to testify before the American Committee on Ireland." Includes "Watch Your Credit Line / International-128411".

Alternate caption inscribed on note attached to verso of one copy "Great crowd greets Mrs. MacSwiney on her arrival in New York. / A section of the great crowd that greeted Mrs. MacSwiney on her arrival in New York today.
