O'Kelly writes of O'Brien "From my long experience of him I have no hesitation in saying I know no better man in Ireland for the post in which you desire to place him.".
Envlope includes the printed address "Peadar Ó Ceallaigh, M.A., / Domhnach Pádraig / Co. na Midhe". Letter is written on headed paper "International Hotel, / Killarney.". Envelope also contains the annotation "J.J. O'kelly ("Sceilg") to Thomas Farren 4/8/18 re secretaryship of the Irish Trade Union Congress" in WIlliam O'Brien's hand.
