A proposed lecture tour of two delegates from the Irish Labour Party to the United States, which Lehane had agreed to organise, did not go ahead. James Larkin arrived in New York independent of the Irish Labour Party in November 1914.
Includes manuscript copies of O'Brien's reply on verso and on seperate page "Official delegation abandoned act for Larkin wrote last Tuesday O'Brien".
