| Summary: | Lehane requests two credentials to give him the authority to organise the lecture tour and that James Connolly write a pamphlet regarding socialism in Ireland. O'Brien suggests Larkin but notes "he should be told he would be well advised to act under my advice here as I would prevent his making all kinds of mistakes.". The proposed lecture tour did not go ahead. James Larkin arrived in New York independent of the Labour Party in November 1914. |
