Summary:Contains circulars and letters from the I.H.S. secretaries Mairin McDonald and R. V. Stoney to the Society's membership, notifying them of the forthcoming exhibitions and demonstrations at Royal Dublin Society's Spring Show and various other sales and displays of homespun in Dublin.


Also included is an incomplete letter from Muriel Gahan to a Mr. Riordan, inviting him to become a committee member, letters to Mairin McDonald from M. H. Preston of the Linen Hall Library, answering her queries about flax, dyes and mixed fabrics (5 Mar. 1937), from Fred Bradbury of the College of Technolgy, Belfast, concerning their collection of photographs of 'flax culture' (23 Apr 1937), and from Jeremiah Dunne of the County Tipperary S.R. Committee on Agriculture (18 July 1942).
