Breen writes of the assumed reasoning behind O'Brien's dislikening of him "I can only recall one reson and that was a few hot words we had outside Haye's Hotel, Thurles during a general election. I was in very bad form and I was after getting a shot of dope and dope always make me very [cranky?]- I will fight with myself.".
Letter is written on "Dáíl Éireann / Tigh Laighean / (Leinster House) / Baile Átha Cliath / (Dublin)" headed paper. Cover letter includes Foran's address as "24 Victoria Villas".
