Summary:Kuhn remarks "Congratulations upon the the outcome of our fight with Kangarooism [referring to a split in the Socialist Labor Party of America] are certainly in order" and mentions in relation to elections that in "the 16th [New York district], where comrade De Leon is running with a fair chance of success, they are doing their utmost to defeat him and thereby help the Tammany Hall candidate [Democrat]". Kuhn also describes violent rows that have broken out at meetings "supplemented by a fusilade of sundry kinds of vegtables, rotten eggs and other missiles that happended to be handy", resulting in a number of arrests.
