This item also contains a seperate note stating "John Dillon, speaking to the students of University College Dublin [...] the day after the convention which accepted the Home Rule Bill without hearing it read last April said that now that the bill had been accepted it would be dishonorable to try to change any of its provisions, or to use the machinery it created as a lever to obtain more".
