Carney makes reference to Connolly's interactions with the Socialist Labour Party in Ireland and the Socialist Party of America, and claims that Connolly was not involved in organising the Irish Citizen Army; he also offers corrections regarding Connolly's involvement in the Irish Transport and General Workers' Union strike and lockout action in Belfast and Dublin.
