O'Brien writes of one his colleagues who stated they were neutral prior to leaving the Labour Party altogether; "....and with one of my greatest signs of relief, I must say, that it is a damn good job if we are at last freed of the incubus and detriment he has been to us all in this crisis. What we want now is men with clear cut determination to do a thorough job.".
Letter includes address "Connolly Hall, Cork.".
