1928 July 8.

Cinemas and theatres under the proprietorship of Alderman John J. Farrell are affected, comprising the Grand Central Cinema, Pillar Picture House, Electric Picture House, Mary Street Picture House, Plaza Picture House and Tivoli Theatre. The letter accuses Farrell of unfairly dismissing an employee named Charles McEvoy, whom Farrell also claimed was "uncontrollable" due to shell-shock.
