Father Dominic expresses pleasure at the knowledge that there are nuns in Central America promoting the Nationalist cause as most nuns in Ireland were intimidated by the Bishops and the Black and Tans. He writes that the Papal Envoy's report is entirely in favour of Republicans and condemns the Bishops. He writes "our boys are really defending Papal Infallibility as well as the Republic". With explanatory note by Dr. William J. Maloney explaining his connection to Father Dominic and the reasons behind the priest's exile to America.
