William Benjamin Sarsfield Taylor (1781-1850) according to Strickland's 1913 'A Dictionary of Irish Artists' never completed this prosed venture - "...the issue of the work was begun in 1820, but it failed to enlist the support of the public, and only a few of the plates were published.
