Satirical broadside which references Lord John Russell, the Duke of Wellington and Napoleon Bonaparte but has local politics in Tyrone with the second Marquess of Abercorn and Major John Humphreys as the main focus. Lord Abercorn is referred to as 'My Lord Peppercorn'. Major John Humphreys is referred to as 'R---p Freego' - he was originally from Norfolk and land-agent to 4th Earl of Wicklow [1825-1833] and later to the second Marquess of Abercorn from 1833 [he brought his family to live at Milltown House in Strabane, County Tyrone; he also owned land of his own (bought with the proceeds of naval prize money - he was a Lieutenant in the Royal Marines, and fought in the Battle of Copenhagen, though he retired in 1806 after being wounded while on service in the West Indies) in Counties Wicklow and Tyrone.
