Copyletter from Thomas Farren to the editor of the 'Irish Independent' newspaper, arguing against Fr. Peter Finlay's claims that Irish socialists have acted in an un-Christian manner,
1920 March 9.

Farren writes that, in a lecture published by the 'Independent', Fr. Finlay alleges that the Irish working class "have been living in a state of mortal sin and have incurred the ban of excommunication" due to Irish attendance at the International Labour Conference in Berne, Switzerland. Farren argues against Finlay's claim.
