Open letter from an unidentified author, attributing the difficulties faced by the socialist movement in Ireland to the "Freemason-Clerical bloc",
1912 June 2.
The author claims that the Freemansons and Church of Ireland "rule and plunder Ireland", but that they can be beaten "by pamphlets and circulars quietly distributed". The author also claims that "Truth, honour and justice are today trampled deep in the mire under the brutish hoofs of ecclesiastical satires, selfish, avaricious, tyranical creatures from whom one might as well expect Christianity, justice or honour, as milk from a male tiger".
