Patrick McCartan explains that he and Bulmer Hobson "went for England" and anti-recruiting but avoided anti-parliamentarism. Mentions the death of "Pat", his and Constance Markievicz's articles about "Warburton", "Col Everad & Lord Monteagle", the Ancient Order of Hibernians and the United Irish League, Arthur Griffith and "Noonan". Also mentions that he resigned from the corporation, and that he cannot write for the 'Gaelic American' presently.
