Patrick McCartan was on his way to Ireland and resumed his writing in Ireland. He mentions 'Resurrection of Hungary' (by Arthur Griffith, published in 1904) and John O'Leary's 'Recollections of Fenians and Fenianism', "Father Jorke" and "Bishop Mangan", "McCullagh" [his friend Frank?] and others, including "J. D." [John Devoy] and people in Ireland. Also mentions the newspapers 'United Irishman' and 'The Irish People'.
