Summary:Broadside poster, black font on buff paper [with partial loss of top left-hand side of broadside]. With the date of '31 Oct 1843' underlined [top right] in Thomas Mathew Ray's handwriting along with the words "Liberator's addr[ess] / 31st Oct 1 [1843]" written top left of broadside [with partial loss of some of the words and figures originally present]. Conciliation Hall on Burgh Quay, Dublin was built as a meeting place for Daniel O’Connell’s Loyal National Repeal Association of Ireland; it was rebuilt as a concert hall by W.H. Byrne in 1897 [called the Grand Lyric Hall, later known as the Tivoli in 1901; the Tivoli closed in 1928]. The building was then converted and became the home of the Irish Press newspaper group.
