a morality in Irish, entitled "An Rí", by P. [Padraic or Padraig] H. Pearse, will be performed by the pupils, weather permitting, at 3.30 pm / Scoil Éanna, Ráth Fearnáin [St. Enda's College, Rathfarnham]

A Morality in Irish, entitled "An Rí", by Padraic [or Padraig] Pearse, will be performed by the pupils, weather permitting, at 3.30 pm". The attendees were requested to R.S.V.P. At top of card within a mandorla [almond shape] is an image of one of the Fianna, resting his hands on a sword. Around him is a border in uncial script that reads; "Neart I n-an lámatbh fípinne i n-ap dteanthaibh, agus glaine i n-ap gcpaidthibh". At the time this play was performed St. Enda's was operating from Cullenswood House, Oakley Rd., Ranelagh, Dublin.
