Description: The author agrees with Pearse's opinion that John Sweetman is not "as level headed as he might be at times" and with regards to John Dillon mentions that "the fundamental salvish[es] of parlimentary agitation appears to have made its way into the very marrow of his bones and spoiled an otherwise fine Irishman". He mentions his converstation with An Craoibhín [Douglas Hyde] and Tómas Bán [Ó Conceanainn] regarding the "Union Question" and the danger it poses for the Gaelic League.
