Note in pencil on notebook in Joseph McGarrity's hand reads :"This secretary was a spy for Gloster Armstrong, was discovered and ran. JMcG.".
MS 17, 501/10/2: List (4 pages) of contact details of members of Clan-na-Gael. Note on verso reads "Records of meetings in reference to the "Playboy" [of the Western World] J.J. Carew, Rec. Sec.". MS 17,501/10/2 was originally attached to the cover of notebook MS 17,501/10/1.
