Summary: | There are three groups of revision, ribbon typed slips pinned on the sheets; ribbon typed text directly on to this carbon typescript, ofter in conjunction with pencil excisions; and significant excisions in pencil. All revisions appear to have been followed in the publishe text: for most part they are toning down the anger of this violently anti-English eulogy. Another contemporary hand - signed "U.L." or "M.L." (probably Quinn's secretary) has made some measured criticism, though not always in agreement with Quinn. |
