Summary: | Ua hÍceadha would prefer "one native speaking scholar from each of the Irish-speaking provinces" on the Board and remarks that in the case of Connacht he does not see why Douglas Hyde was not sufficent. He also mentions that he will not "press the matter by threathening to resign" which he stated at the Árd-Fheis only to make his "position clear". Ua hÍceadha also states that "Father Farragher has withheld from me permission to say Mass and further has I understand removed the sacred vessels to make sure.". |
