Letter from Seán Russell to Joseph McGarrity in which Russell thanks McGarrity for his hospitality during Russell's visit to the U.S.. Russell discusses the conditions at Glasshouse and Arbour Hill prisons. He mentions DeValera's negative reaction when he hears of Russell's trip to the U.S. Russell informs McGarrity that operation in England should be starting soon, and that Russell's visit with Clan-na-Gael has "created a new spirit in the whole organisation here". Brief mention of McGarrity acquiring Thompson guns.
