Description: Cover letter enclosing a statement of O'Brennan's case as a civil servant who "resigned or [was] dismissed for political reasons", directed to the Committee of the Department of Finance. Includes details of her role with the National Aid Association, Cumann na mBan, the Dáil Éireann Labour Department, as secretary to Erskine Childers, the Dáil Publicity Department, the 1923 General Election and during the 1923 hunger strike in Kilmainham Jail. With related newspaper cutting.
