Notes: | Padraic Colum's play 'The Fiddler's House' is a revised version of his earlier play 'Broken Soil' which was first staged in 1903. 'The Fiddler's House' was first staged by the Theatre of Ireland on 21 March 1907. This scene does not appear in the published versions of 'The Fiddler's House'. Dealer's note ''May be the famous missing scene from the first production of 'The Fiddler's House'... Colum wrote in 1955 that he was very distressed that a scene from this play had been lost for all time.'' Reproduction rights owned by the National Library of Ireland.
