Description: Barton writes asking for O'Brennan to send another stove, noting that his present one works "very well for me alone but most people mess in groups here", and asks O'Brennan to pass on message regarding sundries and supplies to his sister [Dulcibella]. He also writes "Are you carrying out the defenestration rules? & does the mirror still perform its magic?" while reflecting on his progress in learning the Irish language.
